I'd like to learn more about people's experiences with cirrhosis, since this is new to me. If you have any good web sites, I'd love to see them. Guest guest Posted January 12, 2003 Report Share Posted January 12, 2003 Hi Abigail, I don't think I'm that remarkable, just blessed, even though I have cirrhosis. I sure hope that a cure is found soon. I'm surprised that my 3 brothers and sister don't have cirrhosis. They were heavy into drugs and drinking when they were young. Not me, and I got the cirrhosis. Oh, well, who said life was supposed to be fair, right? By the way, my granddaughter's name is Kismet, which means " predestined " . Maybe she'll grow up to be a famous scientist who will discover a cure for cirrhosis. Hope it's not too cold where you are. I'm not used to this cold (low 30s) weather, so I'm going to climb under my electric blanket soon. Have a good night. Tomorrow is a new day.
