Guest guest
Get fliers out to childbirth educators and doulas! If you're actively practicing as a doula, perhaps each couple's fee can include a " free " breastfeeding class. See if any childbirth educators will let you teach the breastfeeding portion of their class series (this probably won't happen in the hospitals, but try independent educators). Contact local LLL leaders - they may have suggestions as to who to contact, and some may have a " local resources " file or bulletin board (I know we do). I don't know where you live, but contacting homebirth midwives would be another tact to take (some places they're easier to find than in others). Other body workers (massage therapists, etc) and naturally-oriented healthcare providers might put something up. Healthy food stores, maternity shops, baby furniture stores, etc. Kennedy , IBCLC LLL Leader On 4/8/03 3:52 PM, " " < > wrote: > I have talked with a few Chiroprators offices and they are willing to let me > hold a Breastfeeding class in the evening there for free.(YAYH!)
