Guest guest
I'm wondering about the " not peeing " thing. Am I just reading that wrong, or is it a problem with water retention? Maybe it's your period. Also, about the chocolate. I had the same experience. So very strange to have a period where all of your patterns of 30 years are different! I used to NEED chocolate, and I washed it down with beer and ibuprofen to kill the pain (neither beer nor ibu's worked alone-honest!) Now, I feel these little twinges that is what I guess everyone else has been calling cramps all these years, and no food cravings or weight gain. Strange but wonderful. Oh, and in the " too much information " category, much less flow. Also, I had my now-usual " period migraine " with no pain. I can't really explain it, but I got the usual aura, then felt tired and out of it, but no headache. I've never heard of anyone like this. So, I just realized, first time in 30 years using no painkiller during my period. Wow. Marla Jo, please keep us informed. I'm so impressed that you've done this. I look forward to hearing about how great you feel. It's coming! Liz > > > Marla: Congratulations, I'm so proud of you (and Liz)! Guest guest
> I'm wondering about the " not peeing " thing. ~~~I'm sorry not peeing anymore I meant to say that the 18 glasses of water compared to the 9 glasses that I was drinking the first 6 days. > >I used to NEED chocolate, and I washed it down with beer and ibuprofen to kill the pain (neither beer nor ibu's worked alone- honest!) ~~~I love you!! LOL thanks for the laugh, that was me too!! My husband would say how can you eat that and drink beer? I would tell him that beer goes good with everything. Although, I quit drinking a week or two before Thanksgiving. Boy, now that I type that my body probably thinks it was kidnapped.... On another note: My mouth tastes like acid or something now and no matter how hard I brush my tongue it comes right back.. Marla
Guest guest
Hmmm, acid taste, huh? Could that be ketosis? I know that people in ketosis have horrible breath. I didn't have that, but I didn't do the whole yeast elimination diet. Liz PS- and I promise this is the last off-topic chocolate item - I had a friend who used to pour beer over chocolate cereal and eat it that way when she had her period. I swear. > > > >> I'm wondering about the " not peeing " thing. > > ~~~I'm sorry not peeing anymore I meant to say that the 18 glasses > of water compared to the 9 glasses that I was drinking the first 6 > days. >> > >> I used to NEED chocolate, and I washed it down with beer and > ibuprofen to kill the pain (neither beer nor ibu's worked alone- > honest!) > > ~~~I love you!!
