It helps when you can see the progress. The depressing part is when it first starts and things seem to get worse instead of better, before the healing starts good. I loved wound care when I worked home health. I'd rather change dressings and try to heal ulcers and wounds. It was a challenge to find something that worked with the pt. Just don't do like one I saw....Had a nice clean wound healing well, and came back after a weekend, and found my nice clean dressing packed with Cumerandine(?Sp) ....LOL.
