Your psych was very wise -- sometimes we have to be hit in the head in order to " get it " . My 11 y.o. had an awful time last summer (meaning the whole family had an awful time), including 3 hospitalizations. The great news is that she is doing GREAT now. She's on zoloft, seroquel and busbar. We took her out of school and put her on independent study for awhile, which made life much easier on her. She's now going to school for a partial day, getting straight A's, has no OCD symptoms that we can see, and has a leading role in the community children's theatre production of " Annie " . Last week her psychiatrist said we didn't need to check in for 8 weeks (tho she still meets with her therapist every 3 weeks)! Keep praying, and let the meds do their thing. You wouldn't deny your child insulin if he were diabetic, right? We had an email prayer list of our favorite 75 praying friends, and it was a big help to both our daughter and family. I pray the meds work quickly!!! Suzanne in CA

Hi -- Keep in mind, it could also be some depression, as kids' depression often manifests as anger -- my 11 y.o. daughter was the same way.
