That site says that light grey Celtic sea salt has 150 micrograms of iodine

per 1/4 tsp serving. Another site

(http://www.seniorjournal.com/NEWS/2001Misc/1-09-01Vitaimins.htm) says that

the latest RDA is 150 micrograms per day. People here have mentioned

putting a tsp into their gallon of drinking water a day. So, it would

appear to me that in fact whole salt does provide enough iodine.

For sure, what is typically called sea salt is refined and does not have

iodine. But whole salt, also called natural salt, does.
