NYSTAN (SQUIBB) AND METRONIDAZOLE

Using an antifungal and anti bacterial at the same time is very common with our kids, you may see some nasty die off reactions, shout if you need to know what that is and often there is a rebound after you stop antibiotics etc so good to have supps in lace after that but you are coming at it from Strep angle, that can make huge positive difference behaviours.

How long are you supposed to say on these various supps?

Has anyone used Nystan (Squibb) suspension and Metronidazole suspension and encountered any side effects.We are treating our son for his strep throat and he is on Cefaclore and also prescribed with Nystan and Metronidazole but I am not sure whether to give these to him or not as i have read the possible side effects and they are scary.Has anyone tried these and can share their experience and opinionThanksAna

Hi Mandy,

we are supposed to stay on antibiotics for 3 months (once daily) and also on

Nystan and Metronidazole - should we use these just after we finish the course

of antibiotics or together with them?
