Guest guest
Way to go... those are killer shoulder isolation pushup.. I think we did these in a Body Pump class they are tough!! way to gojudy sTo: Sent: Mon, January 17, 2011 2:34:16 PMSubject: 's Monday workout Well since today I am off work for the holiday, I decided to go ahead and do this other one I had gotten from Netflix since it is a longer one and tomorrow I will probably sneak back to short workouts since I will be working. Today I did the Biggest Loser: Cardio Max Weight Loss. It was led by Bob and contestants Tara Costa and Sione Fe, the same as the power walk DVD was. I really liked this workout and will probably buy it eventually. I did all 3 of the sessions. It is 55 minutes altogether. In part 3 there are these things called shoulder presses where you are in a downward dog and then you point your head down to the floor and do like a push up with your head going towards the floor, these were killer on my shoulders that were still sore from yesterdays kettlebell arm circles. I pushed thru though and I finished it up. I have most of the BL workouts because I really do like them, I like knowing I can get this one from Netflix until I get around to buying it. Have a great day everyone. I have to go package up 4 DVD's to send out for swapadvd.com they are some I had put up on the VF swap but nobody wanted. in CA

Guest guest
Okay, I fell off the wagon for about 5 days with exercise and with eating. I am trying to climb back on today. So far, so good. My visit with my company yesterday was great. My little brother who used to be very overweight has lost a ton of weight and looks so good now. He has also gone low fat vegetarian as I have. He gets up every morning and swims for two hours in competition and then he rides his bike 22 miles one way to work, works all day, then rides his bike home. I ain't even gonna do all that, but it did give me renewed hope and resolve to keep going. I have decided to do the MB45 essentials 6 week workout plan to start. Today I did The Facial Workout, then I did the Beginner Workout 1 of the MB 45 plan for day 1, I used an 18 pound bell for the swings and the deadlifts, I think I will go heavier next time on this. I used a 12 lb. for everything else, like the shoulder presses and the half get ups. This workout was only 15 minutes, and didn't seem really hard, but I decided to ease back in slowly. I wish this DVD set had a cool down on it, that's the one thing I don't like about it. Tomorrow is a rest day according to plan, I may do some sort of stretch. I will be scheduling myself a recovery week about every two months from now on, I think I burned myself out. Maybe those Huckabee 20 minute powerfit harmonys will be good for that. I feel good today, back on track and ready to go. Have a great day everyone. in CA
Guest guest
Me too Indyrose... I struggle with eating a lot! Good thing i work out a lot too or I'd REALLY be in trouble! Cheesecake doesn't do much for me but lasagna...mmmmmmmm I would have fallen off right with ya. Did you hear me just bounce off the wagon? There was left-over lasagna and cheesecake that I indulged in. I didn't eat a full serving of either (the serving sizes were HUGE!!), but enough to make me feel guilty. I'll need to do an extra hard workout tonight. I think I'll do all of Kathy 's LW2LW... Mea culpa. I quit smoking years ago. I quit watching TV. I quit biting my nails. Why can't I just quit eating? Guest guest
I think eating is one of the toughest things to "control" since we need to do it (in moderation!) to live! I have not been the best since the holidays. I haven't gained much, but I don't feel great and I know my workout results would be better if my diet were cleaner. I am fortunate to have a speedy metabolism - so it takes a lot of overindulgence to show up on the scale! Guest guest
Oh ya, that's plenty for those! Are you going deep in your squats and focusing on squeezing your glutes while thrusting your hips forward to get you back up during the swings? I have some heavier, maybe I should pull them out and use them just for the dead lifts portions. I don't think I could do one handed swings yet with anything heavier though. in CA To: exercisevideos From: pinkpussycat@... Today I did the MB45 Workout 1 (30 minutes) with a 25 lb bell for the swings and the deadlifts, I wish I could ever feel this in my butt and legs but I just don't.
