Hi Everyone,

Today was Accelerate - Cardio & Sculpt again w/ Rebekah. I went heavier on a few of the exercises. I like this workout - in 20 minutes I'm sweaty and breathing heavy. I, will, however, say that in general I don't think Firm Express is going to build a ton of strength - all the workouts I have done, even the pure sculpt ones, are geared mostly towards building endurance. Which is fine, so long as you know what you are getting. After this rotation I may switch up to more of a strength building program, or I may actually do the "intermediate" rotation for Firm Express (mostly b/c I like the workouts!!) Or perhaps I'll do a month or two of more strength building workouts and then move on to the intermediate FE rotation (in the intermediate I believe you do 2 FE workouts per day for 2 days, then have a day "off" for my "off" day I'd likely walk or add on Pilates, etc.)

My back is talking to me again - I think it is from housework and poor form in doing it - mostly picking stuff up off the floor. I know this and I need to do better about it. It isn't too bad and I think some stretching that I did today helped. I did some of my own stretches as well as a recorded Classical Stretch episode - still from Season 5. This worked on the hips which is really good for helping to loosen my back - all connected. :)

Tomorrow - cardio of some form and either Pilates, Classical Stretch, gentle yoga, or barre. (Although may save the barre for the "sculpt" day to keep it all in the same catagory on Friday!)Anyway - better run. We escaped the ice storm and ended up with rain so schedule is "normal" today. Yay! Hope all of you dealing with this big storm are doing ok~!

Take care -

Donna
