Guest guest
Pat if you'll be packing in your suitcase simply pack one plump mushroom with a small amount of extra sour starter tea in a plastic bag. Use a gallon size zip lock and make sure that if you smash the mushroom that it will not break open. Leave a lot of space in the bag no air. And double bag for extra protection. I recommend making only a 1/2 gallon first two time. adding, tea, sugar (3/4 cup/6 oz) tsp of pasteurized vinegar, shot of alcohol. Ed Kasper LAc. I believe it could be tried. But if in doubt, send it to yourself at your point of arrival, or to a friend or family where you are going.
