Guest guest
Cholesterol. For once I have a question. :-) I know cholesterol is produced by the liver. But, does a low cholesterol diet improve liver health? I assume getting rid of the fat soluble stuff is good and probably prevents fatty liver, which lowers cholesterol output. but doesn't the liver need to maintain a certain amount of cholesterol? Or am I wrong and that it just produces it, and if so what kind? And, if you have too much, can it be the liver is producing to much? This may be easy for a doctor to overlook. Not too many doctors would associate high cholesterol with a liver problem. And, if the liver is producing high cholesterol levels, what are the dangers? I've tried doing some reading, but... I know much about the liver but not cholesterol. MaC
