Guest guest
Hi All! I just wanted to clear up some things just in case anyone is confused about these things. Also, if you are not sure about anything else, let me know, so that I can clear it up as well! First of all, I spoke with Bree. She said that she checked into how much space she had left on her website, and she said that out of 50mb she has used 17mb. So, we have plenty of space on her site to do what ever we want to do! I can't imagine at this time that we will need to put a whole lot of info anyway. As we are just starting out. Secondly, It seems that some may be confused on the discription of the New Parent Contact Chairperson/Country Representitive. We will need a person to fill this position from each country. They will be in charge of communicating with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and genetists in their country only. Also, the new parent contact chairperson will organize new parent contacts in thier country, and give them the nessasary information needed, so when they speak to a new parent they will be educated and have a new parent packet to give out. This will make them thier countries representitive. Thus, they will be in charge of thier country. This will cause us to have one chair for each country. If there are other things that you feel are important to do in your country like media coverage,or anything that you can think of that I have not included, then by all means do it! We are all in this together, and I am sure that I have not covered all areas for each position. Third, I really think that one of the Conference Chair Assistants should be in the states,we can have more than one, as I know that Judy could use all the help she can get with this. The reason I think this, is because, if we are having our Convention in the US then there should be one assistant here so that they can get the info needed. I imagine that it would be hard to do it all from other countries. But please, concider several assistants for this. Finally, when the nominations are in,(Saturday is your last day) I will take just a few days for everyone to except their nomintations, then we will take the vote. ===== mom to Arron 19, 16, Tim 15(mds), Stevan 14, and Garrett 5. Guest guest
Thanks Kristy for clearing some things up. I was going to ask for some helpers for the convention (if I am voted in that is) and I notice that Sharon (who lives in Pa) has already been proposed as an assistant. I would like more helpers from the US if people would like to put their names forward. Glenda in Mississipi has let me know that the crop is in now and she has time available until Spring so I would like to nominate her as a Convention assistant as well. You're doing a good job Kristy !! Judy (Mum to 8yrs mds)

Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I know I am a recent addition to the group, but I'd like to nominate my wife, Jaymie, as the newsletter editor. I know Sharon, Sussan and have all been nominated, so if there is need for an assistant, Jaymie (jaymiejay@...) has a ton of experience doing newsletters. I'd also like to nominate her as a new parent contact for Michigan. Jaymie suffers from 'volunteeritis' so i figured I might as well nominate her for one of the officer positions before she volunteers for something else. Guest guest
Hi Kristy: Could you explain something to me. How many new parent contacts are we looking for? Is it one representative from each country, and also a new parent contact from each state in the US? I'm a bit confused. Thanks. ann (Mom to , 7 yrs old, mds and brave enough to get her ears pierced last night!)
