Guest guest
Hi Tracey, It makes me borderline weepy to hear such exciting news about these little guys coming through. I was wondering what is LDN, and what is coromega? and why did you decide to start them. Again, congratulations! Libby REMARKABLE results with coromega hello all! wanted to post my son's progress since starting coromega approx. 3 weeks ago. nick used to take nordic naturals cod liver oil but after a little while, it made him gag on all of his food. so i had to stop the supplement even though i saw a slight increase i speech. after stopping the oil, i tried a few other things with nick including LDN which he's done very well on. so, now that i haven't introduced anything new for a while, i decided to go ahead and try the coromega that's been sitting in my cabinet for months.WOW! i cannot believe the child that is living in this house is mine. he was doing nicely since starting LDN. a little more social, a little more language. but, now, he talks NON-STOP all day long! his eye contact is extraordinary. he has picked up new speech and old speech that was on hiatus. he's been doing so well that i decided to keep him home from school this week and give a try at potty training. he is doing so well. today was the first full day of trying and he peed on the potty 5x and pooped once! he loves to go in and read books, do puzzles & crafts. he goes in with a huge smile and happily sits there for sometimes and hour before he will pee. today, for the first time ever, when i asked if he was ready for potty time he started to sing, "potty time, potty time, potty time"! he actually laid on the floor and watched nemo..... with me! he's usually too antsy to do that. i have to say... i can see the light at the end of the tunnel with this one. each day is a new step taken with him. he has been absolutely amazing. his mood has been exceptional. my husband worked all weekend and came home yesterday and said, "whatever you're doing with him has made an enormous difference. it is mind-blowing". and he's right. it really is.i wanted to post this in case anyone was thinking of trying coromega. it's really made a huge difference over here!FYI-td-dmps since may 05LDN since november 05houstons trio since july 04culturelle since march 05nystatin since june 05coromega since february 06brainchild minerals since march 05liquizinc since december 05no special dietwas non-verbal after MMRtracey, proud mom to nick, 4 pdd-nos
Guest guest
libby, LDN is low dose naltrexone... it helps the immune system and it's trasdermal. i also belong to the group autim ldn at yahoo and it's very informative. check it out for some really great info. nick started calling me mommy after the two week adjustment period on it. really positive gains on it. more subtle than coromega but still really great. coromega is a fish oil supplement. it comes in packets and is an orange-creamcicle flavor. nick gets one packet a day. it's relatively inexpensive, too. http://www.iherb.com/erbl.html. that's the link i use to buy it. it has been phenomenal. absolutely no negative adjustment period. it took about a week but we quickly saw gains after that. i hope this helps. any more questions, feel free to e-mail me directly. tracey
Guest guest
i don't know what the recommended dan dose is. when i asked on one of the lists if anyone knew what the recommended dosage would be for a four year old, 38lbs., someone responded that they give their child who is close in body weight and age one packet a day. some said 2. so i thought i'd give it a try at one packet and see how things go. considering we're having such good results, i'm not gonna fix it if it ain't broke! hope this helps, tracey
Guest guest
That is fantastic to hear, so glad for you Tracey. Thanks for posting this. I wonder if that great result could be in any way linked to the timing? Guest guest
We use it as well- our seven year old takes two packets per day in addition to krill oil to help get the EPA and DHA up to the recommended DAN! dose Re: REMARKABLE results with coromega libby, LDN is low dose naltrexone... it helps the immune system and it's trasdermal. i also belong to the group autim ldn at yahoo and it's very informative. check it out for some really great info. nick started calling me mommy after the two week adjustment period on it. really positive gains on it. more subtle than coromega but still really great. coromega is a fish oil supplement. it comes in packets and is an orange-creamcicle flavor. nick gets one packet a day. it's relatively inexpensive, too. http://www.iherb.com/erbl.html. that's the link i use to buy it. it has been phenomenal. absolutely no negative adjustment period. it took about a week but we quickly saw gains after that. i hope this helps. any more questions, feel free to e-mail me directly. tracey
Guest guest
I just looked at the ingredients of coromega and it has not as much epa and dha as my fish oil that I currently give my son. The one I give my son is 4 times as much dha and epa as the coromega and the omega 3's. I wonder if I should give this one is addition to the one I already give? -----Original Message-----From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ]On Behalf Of traceySent: Tuesday, March 14, 2006 10:19 PMTo: mb12 valtrex Subject: REMARKABLE results with coromega hello all! wanted to post my son's progress since starting coromega approx.

Guest guest
I thought the DAN! protocol recommended 800-1000 mg of EPA and around 400-500 mg of DHA per day. One packet is not nearly that that's why we use 2 and also use krill. My daughter weighs 45 pounds Re: REMARKABLE results with coromega i don't know what the recommended dan dose is. when i asked on one of the lists if anyone knew what the recommended dosage would be for a four year old, 38lbs., someone responded that they give their child who is close in body weight and age one packet a day. some said 2. so i thought i'd give it a try at one packet and see how things go. considering we're having such good results, i'm not gonna fix it if it ain't broke! hope this helps, tracey
Guest guest
For more information about Coromega, visit www.coromega.com. Our son takes two packets a day. He has been on this for years. As far as the egg allergy, only egg yolk is used in this product. Our son is allergic to egg whites and takes this product with no issues. Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do.
