He is going on day 15 of valtrex, and I just wanted to show how his rash on his side of his face is not any better; in fact it seems to get worse. I hope to find something to help his face! I read a few parents who had very good results? never used it for my son yet- he is not YET on Valtrex- waiting for RX to come in mail.... Sometimes those are left out of the filtration loop because you don't want to waste filtered water on your lawn. Regards, .- I do live in AZ. Last summer there were several posts about how most hoses contain something that leeches lead into the water especially when they get warm in the sun. Lead-free hoses are usually white and sold at camper and boating stores. There was somewhere online selling a green one too I think. Anyways, I don't know if this could have anything to do with the warts but it would not help them and you never know with our kids. Guest guest Posted January 2, 2006 Report Share Posted January 2, 2006 Hi Carie, I live in Arizona too. (Far North Phoenix.) Our water was tested and we have elevated levels of lead. I find it interesting that Kreed is having a problem with warts. Both of my boys have ASD, and I apparently have a compromised immune system as well. I developed a wart on my hand and it spread over a period of months to two whole fingers on my hand. My dermatologist froze them about 8 times and they kept coming back. It was awful, painful and very embarassing. I hid my hands under bandaids. I began MB12 shots, valtrex and had my warts lazered off by a different dermatologist. In Phoenix,dermatologist Dr. Halmi has a lazer. (Not many do) It felt like a light rubber band snap and that was it. It was far, far less painful than freezing, left no scar and I have not had the warts reappear. I think this was because of the Valtrex and B12. I hope this helps.
