Guest guest
Hi . --------- From: Lotsofwordz@... [21/08/2003] --------- > *** VA *** bilaterally, sonorous * Vesikuläratmen >*** DS = tenderness? *** Druckschmerz >2. Reduced transparency of the Rt ** UF = lobe??? Unterfeld >dyselectasis *** The term " atelectasis " means " Failure of full expansion of the lung; the word comes from the Greek a-(without) + telos (complete) + rectasis (expansion) = without complete expansion. S. = im Sinne Longer term confusional states *in the sense of/corresponding to a transitory pychotic syndrome 11. good clinical Rückbildungstendenz (~back-formation) Rückbildungstendenz can translate as regresssion or as atrophy or as degeneration depending on the context as in, for instance: 'spontaneous regression of tumour' it could also be translated by recovery, depending on the context, particularly here where it is preceded by 'good clinical' 14. Umstellfähigkeit = ability to adapt (umstellen: to switch, to change, to adapt) 16. Nachstellschritt = the patient climbs the stairs one step at a time with both his/her feet, putting the second foot beside the first foot (nachstellen) on the following step Regards Barbara
