Code of Ethics? I mean, if they can run up the price of remediation, like we currently witness all across the nation, then wouldn't it be easy for the IAQ people to just point fingers at the school administrators and cast doubts about their knowledge, thus creating a forum and need for your work whether it be the so called "standard" or not.Shane Shane, You raise an excellent point and one that cannot and should not be ignored. Yes there are some IAQ "EXPERTS" that overcharge and do poor work....I have seen that personally. That is another reason the public needs to be educated as to "what to look for" and "how to hire an expert with integrity". I know they are out there but the vast majority of the public are being "taken for a ride" with this new "epidemic". Just as there are good and bad builders, architects, plumbers, electricians, etc. eventually "word of mouth" will weed the bad ones out.....or so we can hope. Perhaps there should be a "clearing house website" that list IAQ experts, their credentials and testimonials from actual clients. When people ask me for a referrel I can only give them a list of 3 at this time. The others whose "work" I have witnessed I wouldn't refer to remediate a dog house. Thanks for your comments. They are most welcomed. Sharon Cross
