Guest guest
Buhner recommends resveratrol for multiple lyme infections in " Healing Lyme. " " ...Japanese knotweed modulates and enhances immune function, is active against a number of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria including leptospira and Treponema denticola spriochetes, is anti-inflammatory for both arthritic and bacterial inflammations, protects the body against endotoxin damge, helps reduce Herxheimer reactions, and is a cardioprotector. " (p.105.) " The herb specifically protects the brain from inflammatory damage, microbial endotoxins, and bacterial infection. " (p.106) " Knotweed enhances the blood flow especially to the eye, heart, skin and joints. " (p.106) I also recall reading that it protects the brain from quinolinic acid damage that is caused by multiple lyme infections. My son had amazing gains within a day of beginning resveratrol. His vision seemed to be greatly improved. He started to touch little details on the rugs in my house like he had never seen them before and also initiated his first real play skills on day 2 (prior to that his hyperlexia ruled him.) Additionally, he immediately stopped standing on his head/pushing his head onto the floor, which had had done frequently to relieve pressure. He also woke up in the morning more refreshed vs the massive hang-over he used to wake up with. On a side note, our LLMD, Dr J.S., tells me that resveratrol does not kill bartonella, but says it is a great antioxidant and we should all take it. He are having great success now that we are using resveratrol and also Zhang's HH.
