Hi,

I don't know a word in German, but MRSA is an English acronym for Meticill

Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. So, you needn't translate it!

Kind regards,

UTN-Implantation; MRSA De> E

Context: translation of a patient record (surgical clinic), treatment of

injuries after car accident. Can anyone tell me what the following

German abbreviations stand for:

UTN- Implantation

Kontamination der Wunde mit MRSA (A49.0)

Hi Marina,

Just a little correction:

MRSA = MethicillIN Resistant Staphylococcus aureus

Its's methicillin, and aureus is not capitalized, because the name of the

variety.

Have a nice day
