Thorne's Idebenone requires a prescription

I wanted to start myself on Idebenone and called Thorne Research since

they carry the 100mg capsules. But, they need a prescription from a

doctor. Is there a way around this requirement and is there a need for

the requirement?

You could try contacting NEEDS.

Thorne is a physician channel manufacturer,

but NEEDS carries a number of their products.

They are not listed in the catalog or website,

but if you call, they will tell you whether or

not they carry that particular Thorne

supplement.
