Hi Dr McC,

Is it OK to use Thorne's vit A 25,000units that is in a capsule? It says veg

source, it is a powder and it is palmitate. I switched to that as I am

trying to be scd legal with the supps, but now after reading your recent post, I

am not sure if this is an acceptable form. I have the metagenic mycellized

gtts, the ingredients in that are the same as the Klaire's gtts, but was not

sure if they were scd legal, so I switched, wondering if that was OK, thanks,

Val

Val: I have been using the Thorne (25,000iu) from palmitate and Klaire's

mycelized 5000iu per drop (from palmitate with 25iu of beta-carotene) without

any problems. I called VRP to make sure their Vit A oil from fish had no

mercury in it or no Vitamin D in it. I also have Life Extension 20,000 iu per

drop, but give it only to adults as it has other things in it like cinnamon and

clove and polysorbate 80 (whatever that is) and cassia oil blend (whatever that

is) - I'm afraid to give it to the little guys. Jaquelyn
