Guest guest
Make raw kefir with the raw milk. That would be a lot better than milk with the candida. I seem to remember that it may be questionable even to drink kefir when dealing with candida. I'd say pay attention to your body and see how it feels. Check out www.bodyecologydiet.com or something very close to that. Good luck Tonio Is it okay to continue drinking raw milk when I'm fighting systemic candida?I'm just concerned about the sugars in the milk. I'm hoping someone will tell me they are offset by the benefits of the milk - or something!I can't imagine giving up my milk during all of this! Thanks - Tonya
Guest guest
Tonya, Kefir is the enemy of candida. You are right to be a bit concerned about the lactose sugars in milk even raw milk, when it comes to candida. However, kefir not only uses up the lactose to ferment the milk, it also gives a broad spectrum of good bacterium to fight with candida. Don't do the store bought kefir or the powdered starter. Seek out real grains. I usually have plenty but I am low right nowdue to heavy ordering. But there are others on this list who share for free. Guest guest
Thank you and Tonio! I do have kefir grains and have been drinking kefir. I'm just going to have to get used to drinking it without fruit blended in. But I can do that! Hopefully this won't last too long. Thanks again everyone.
