Guest guest
The 5-year old son of a friend of our former neighbor was just dx'ed with aspergers. They live in Denmark but are currently in the states visiting the mom's family in Colorado. The mom wants to begin interventions, but isn't sure what to do and seems not to have found a lot of resources in Denmark as of yet. Our mutual friend has suggested that the mom call me for ideas to get started. She says the affected child is very bright and verbal (speaks both English and Danish), but has very impaired social skills. He has no overt food allergies or GI problems. I'm going to recommend she purchase CSB from this website but am unsure how much of what I know about autism applies to asperger's. Does the DAN approach/various biomedical interventions help with aspergers like it does autism? Any input or suggestions that I could pass on to the mom would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of any good docs/resources in Denmark, that info would also be appreciated. Thanks Mom of C and D
