Guest guest
just in case people need to translate this at a later date it's " Holy Friday " not holly friday (prob just a typo), the latter is a tree! Also in the UK we call it Good Friday, I'm afraid I haven't a clue what they call it in Germany! Guest guest
Thank you, phine. It was not a typo, just a true mistake. It's interesting to learn that with 2 " L " s, it's a tree. Have all a nice Easter week-end, whatever will be it's duration (2, 3 or 4 days -No, don't tell me that there are some places in the world where it lasts 5, 6 ... days :-))) AW: OT: Holly Friday a bankholiday in Germany ? > > > , > > C'est un jour férié > > À+++ > > Geneviève:) > > GENEVIÈVE VON LEVETZOW > Augustastraße 39 > 53173 Bonn, Germany > Phone: +49-228-26 52 53 > E-Fax: +49 26 428 > Fax: +49-228-21 29 90 > Profile: http://www.proz.com/translator/28960 > > > > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: cgtradmed > Gesendet: Freitag, 9.
