Guest guest
Dear , Dr. McCandless, and listmates, I have just read this interesting study. Any thoughts as to how this applies to ASD? Thanks, Ada p.s. , thanks for your article on GI and insular cortex. Can you e-mail me more of your research? What do think about the use of oxytocin in treating ASD? Guest guest
Ada: Yahoo lists don't accept attachments. Can you paste the article and send it in the text of your e-mail? Oxytocin has been used in a study of adults; the problem is fooling around with the hormones in our kids is very tricky. I tried it for several children but was afraid to use very high doses, and didn't see any reaction good or bad. I don't know of any studies in children.
