Guest guest
Thanks for this , don't suppose there is anymore info, I see all the test stuff but it would be nice to know if the child was verbal or non verbal, gut problems, sensory issues anything, also how it panned out as in slow steady progress up, stalls, yeast issues etc. I'm also really, really interested in LD's as a seperate or associated issue to heavy metals. Guest guest
LISA'S REPLY Intial ATEC was a 65. Now it is a 4. My son was sorta/kinda barely verbal. He regressed at age 4 from flu shot, so had more language than most kids do when they regress. He went down to 1 or 2 word sentences, usually nonsensical words at inappropriate times. We once went a whole month where he would randomly shout "eyeballs!". Yes, gut problems - constipation, loss of potty training, unexplained severe bouts of vomiting he was hospitalized for. Yes, SEVERE sensory issues. That's how the regression started. Severe tactile issues, auditory and visual sensitivity was severe. Severe proprioceptive issues. Pretty much slow and steady progress. Only real setbacks were the two times I hired DAN doctors. We saw noticeable gains from parasite treatment and dietary changes initially. We saw subtle but real glimmers of our son still "in there" on the first round. He actually looked AT the TV while it was on and kind of watched it a bit - his eyes actually followed the action. A few months into chelation, my mom called me one day while watching him and said they were playing with rolling a ball around and he actually laughed - a real geniune belly laugh. My parents had forgotten how that sounded and that at age 3 he DID laugh all the time, and now he was doing it again! It was so beautiful - he was 6 and a half. Yeast was an issue but we managed it with GSE and biotin and OoO and Culturelle and Custom Probiotics. Better yeast flare for 2 years, than lifetime of autism. When we hit the stall we kept going and added Classical Homeopathy. Slight struggle with dysgraphia was only remaining issue after recovery (besides the emotional toil). That is resolving on it's own as we continue on. No LD's, but highly gifted, which is another challenge of a different sort. When first heading into "recovery" zone, ADD and CAPD and anxiety were how he presented. Those are no longer an issue. We did other things with AC chelation - herbal parasite treatment and natural anti-virals, Bioset/NAET, changing our lifestyle/home environment, SI therapy, no ABA - but other behavioral therapies, the ALERT program for SI, years of OT, PT, speech, our whole lives were about healing him - we homeschooled, kind of my own "Sonrise" approach I would guess, lots of supplements, CST, reflexology, polarity therapy, some TCM, used muscle testing to determine most of what we did/gave/fed him. I have posts under "Our Journey Thru Autism" blog - most recent is first, so the story of how/why is at the bottom and you'll have to scroll down. http://www.ourjourneythruautism.com/search?q=+Sell HTH, To: autism-biomedical-europe From: michelle0471@...Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2011 19:43:37 +0000Subject: RE: FW: AC chelation -FORWARDED FORM ANOTHER GROUP I have emailed her and will post her reply. x To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: MaddiganV@...Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2011 15:37:31 -0400Subject: Re: FW: AC chelation -FORWARDED FORM ANOTHER GROUP Yes, that's OK with me Vicky [abmd] Re: AC chelation> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > AC chelation recovered my son.
