Hi ,

This is the info the Uni gave us and we've put in the confirmation letter for

delegates:

Car Parking: On evenings and weekends parking is available on campus, however

space is subject to availability. Enter through the East Gate on Mile End Road

and follow the road round to the car park. There is limited metered street car

parking in the local area. Parking on single yellow lines is allowed on Sundays.

Some residential parking areas and some metered parking spots are also free to

non-residents on Sundays, but do check the signs and parking meters carefully.

Details of public car parks in the boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Newham can be

found at the following links

http://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=755

http://www.newham.gov.uk/ParkingAndTransport/CarParks/FindaNewhamCarPark.htm

It's a bit vague, I realize. They 'encourage' people to take public transit, so

if everyone does that, there would be parking spaces left. But if lots of

people drive, then parking will likely be a problem. You may want to check out

the public parking links they've given, as an option B if there are no places

left on campus.

They did let us drive our car up onto the campus to a spot where a few others had parked so dont think this will be a problem
