Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, May i just offer some observation here and of course I respect that you have a right to choose wether to have tis surgery or not... My thoughts are based on what little I have read here of the status of your conditon I would say the decision is appearing to make it self present by the many limitations in your life.... I also was in much the same conditon as you ..unable to go and do the normal activites of life without assistence.. For some their is a time period to make a decison as this for myself I was given no choice as the alternative was to continue on this down hill spiral and rapidly.. I am now coming upon a year in april that I had my surgery and although I am unable to drive yet and i say yet because I do have hope in doing so ..I am able to go and do much more than I was able to prior... My quality of life has increased although still has its limitations the rewards I have recieved far out weigh the state I was in... i wish you luck and peace of mind when thinking of all the aspects..... Love and Light and smile always Terry --------------------------------- Have a burning question? Go to Yahoo! Answers and get answers from real people who know. Guest guest
I say this the same way everytime. . .everyone is different. You have to ask yourself - " Am I living my life the best that I can? " , " Is this a good quality of life for me " , " Do I want to live mylife with this pain/these issues and let them get possibly much worse? " Well if you can imagine a life that is better than the here and now - my response is HAVE THE SURGERY! Not yelling just want it to stand out. If you have a qualified NS why would you want to live a miserable existance when you can live a managable one? I don't mean to sound negative, mean, hurtful - I intend to sound blunt and make people realize that we have a choice to be better or not be better. We don't have a choice to be cured or 100%, but I'll take any % better than before I had surgery. Hugs and Love ,Roxanne --------------------------------- Finding fabulous fares is fun. Let Yahoo!
