Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I am having a bit of trouble with the milk I get - it has a very faint aftertaste. It is not a pleasant taste - it almost tastes like hot rubber. I am very sensitive to tastes and smell, so I don't know if anyone else would even pick up on it. I am loathe to ask the farmer about it as I am so grateful for the milk and in the past any problems I have had have turned out to be storage issues. I store my milk in sterile, wide mouth glass jars. The cows are predominantely grass fed and don't get antibiotics, vaccines, etc. Does anyone have any idea where that aftertaste could come from? I find it difficult to drink the milk (it's been this way for the last 2-3 weeks)and am missing it dearly! Thanks for your help!
