Guest guest
Hi Indy,Usually a bootcamp style workout will incorporate strength training in with the cardio - and sometimes the strength training moves will have a cardio effect - like mountain climbers, burpees, push-ups etc. A lot of bootcamp style workouts also include higher intensity intervals followed by recovery periods (interval workouts). Also, w/ bootcamp you tend to do more "drills" and less choreographed work - so you'll do jumping jacks say instead of grapevines!Hope that helps!DonnaTo: exercisevideos Sent: Fri, January 21, 2011 11:23:47 PMSubject: Video workout question What differentiates a boot camp workout from a regular cardio workout? I've done two boot camps off of Exercise TV and I really don't see much difference. For my Friday workout, I did a 20 minute boot camp, and a 20 minute strength workout.
