Hi Everyone,

Today I did Firm Express - Cycle 2 - Accelerate Cardio & Sculpt. I liked this one better than Ignite's cardio sculpt. Part of it is, I like Rebekah better as an instructor - her movements are just "smoother" - so of it may be body type - is short and muscular - so she is probably more of a 'sprinter' and "powerful" body type. Rebekah seems longer and leaner so is probably closer to my own body type (more of a "long" distance/endurance type person). Note: I don't have a body like Rebekah's - only in my dreams, but she is also only 28, so I guess i have to cut myself some slack there being 14 years older than her! :) Anyway, what I liked about this workout was the pace was a little slower and more controlled. You are supposed to use "heavier" weights with this cycle - although for the most part, Rebekah stuck with "medium" weights which seemed approprate given the

exercises (compound/combined) and the cardio intervals and effect.

After FE I did core, lower body and upper body (workout 2 of each) from Trudie Styler's Pure Sculpt. I like this one the more I do it - although, for me, the winner is the lower body work. I liked the core/abs work from workout # 1 better than workout # 2, which seems a bit awkward to me. The arm stuff is generally the same (to me) in both workouts.

Finally, I finished up w/ Classical Stretch - Season 4 - Back Pain Relief. My back is ok - but I have a tight muscle knot on my right side (in the usual place) and wanted to work on it a bit. I feel pretty good, so...fingers crossed. Of course, we're getting our first "big" snowstorm today which means I will have to shovel, so all bets are off as to how my back feels after that. I'm going to watch form (last year I managed to not injure myself shoveling and we had tons of snow!) and get my ice pack ready! Hopefully all will go well and i'll be ready for Accelerate Sculpt tomorrow!Take care!Donna
