Workout 3 of 12: Back and Biceps with Noel

Here we are, January 18th, the time when most gyms are packed and people are waiting in line for a cardio machine.  Fitness was practically empty.  I hung out with til Noel got there and he showed me this funny YouTube of this bodybuilder at Planet Fitness.  Apparently this gym had a noise censor and if you grunted too loud someone would come up and " talk to you " .  Here's what happened:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfJTXDppVNA & has_verified=1Third Eye Jiu-Jitsu was wrestling someone in the MMA room.I don't know if it's the weather or what but I've been kind of blue the past couple of days so I didn't say much though Noel was certainly his wonderful usual entertaining self and we did make small talk. We did 4 back machines, one which I thought was new to me but he insists I've done before.  We did only 2 bicep machines but on the second one was the pyramid drill.  

As my session was ending he said, " Well, Matt was supposed to be here at five o'clock " .  Matt is the friend I referred to Noel, and how I got some free training tacked on to the end of the package I bought.  Matt often runs late, and sure enough as I was leaving around 5:40 or so he came rushing in.  I hadn't seen him in about a year.  We hugged each other briefly and that was it.

Tomorrow, rain or shine, I will run around the Esplanade during lunch since it's at least warm out, and I need to get some miles in because my 8K is coming up.  Thursday is Leg Day with Noel, which means I won't be able to walk yet alone run for 4-5 days so I need to run while I still have my legs..
