Guest guest
it really depends on your geographic region. we just raised our rates from $80 to $120! this is for a 1.5-2 hour visit. some areas i am aware of pplcs charge $150. in lower-cost regions, it would have to be lower, of course. i think $60 is extremely reasonable, and i would find it hard to cover my costs and make my time worth it at that rate. what are moms expecting when they call you, and from where are they getting these expectations? When a mother calls me, she seems surprised that I will be charging her and today one decided not to have me come for fear it would not do her baby any good, but would cost her money. my fee is $60, is that out of range to any of you? According to , we should charge the fee of a Peds visit. What do you all do? Thanks, Joyce Bermes, IBCLC bermespj@...
