Guest guest
Hi Stan I have been reading this group with interest for a couple of months. Our 5.7yr old son has failed to respond to every biomedical intervention we have tried thus far (apart from Melatonin if you can count that - works like a dream!) Despite 3 years of intensive ABA etc, progress has been non-existent, in fact he has regressed in many areas. He is physically fit but hyperactive/impulsive/OCD, he looks well apart from the dark circles under his eyes, which are the blackest our doctor has ever seen. I have begun wondering if we are neglecting the whole area of viruses (he had so many coughs, colds, infections, chickenpox etc as a baby). I live in Australia and this is an area which doesn't seem to be getting too much attention here, certainly my biomedical doctor has never suggested getting immune panels. So my question is, would you recommend a trial of Valtrex, ONLY if this is indicated by test results? If so, which testing should we get? Thanks for all the time and energy you devote to helping others.
