Guest guest
Bless the contributors for doing this!!!! Well, here's an interesting question: I've always wanted to go to Thoughtful House but it's been financially impossible on one income. We have a *tiny* bit of extra money and we're spending it all on going to see Dr. in Austin in July. So....what if we get going on a program with Dr. , and we get accepted into this (wonderful) program....how would they work together? Has anyone done both programs? Thoughtful House is proud to announce a wonderful opportunity for 50 families affected by autism spectrum disorder. The Bright Eyes Project will provide support and financial assistance to 50 children for the provision of the initiation of appropriate intervention. Over the course of four months, those selected will receive eight appointments with clinicians from the Medical Center and Nutrition Clinic at Thoughtful House. Each family will also receive an in-depth orientation and review with a behavior consultant. Additionally, each family will have comprehensive support from their Family Care Coordinator and will receive discounts on appropriate laboratory testing and nutritional supplements as prescribed during the program. The estimated value of these services and discounts is approximately $5,000 per child. Each family will be responsible for a small co-pay for each appointment. Families must meet established criteria to apply. These criteria include: Child must be between the ages of 18 months and 12 years old to apply Child must have a confirmed ASD diagnosis Family must meet income requirements and be willing to commit to program requirements "Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels - men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, may we never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion. "Dwight D. Eisenhower
