Guest guest
My little 4 year old, Philip, has a bad cavity. I am so nervous about getting dental work done since he is recovering from autism. He was a late talker, and liked playing with letters and numbers and nothing else. He didn't care much for people either. Now he is talking and playing, just a little behind I feel. Not enough to interfere with school, but nonetheless, he is very dependent upon supplements, so his body is still struggling with his pathogen and toxin load. I guess I am just nervous about having to put him under anesthesia From what I have heard, nitrous gas is not the way to go. And then I got to figure out about his supplements. I don't know if anything interracts with anesthesia, and of course, I am not expecting the dentist to even know recovery exists. Thus, if anyone wants to share their knowledge or experience, I am open. I was hoping to be able to put dental work off until he is 5, but its his eye tooth. I don't think it can wait, and I don't think it would fall out on its own for years Thus, I feel I have little choice. Heidi N
Guest guest
Heidi, Our daughter had a great amount of dental work done when she was 5 yrs 5 months old. This was done at the KU Med Center in Kansas City. I too was very concerned about how all of this was going to affect her. But she came through with flying colors. We saw nothing negative not did she regress. Hopefully that will be the outcome for your son. Guest guest
Lee Cowden has a great protocol for dental work. It was for adults but I'm sure you could find help for kids too.
