Hi Stan & everyone,

My son (4 years old, ASD) has been on valtrex (250mg 3x a day) for 3

days but I haven't noticed any rash on his body (which is sort of

disappointing). Can I expect to see that detox reaction soon?

However, he developed severe cough and colds. Is this a good sign?

I'm not sure though if Valtrex triggered it or if I transferred my

colds to him (I have colds for one week now).

What sort of visible reactions can I expect to happen to him in the

next few days? Or is it possible to see improvements even without

those nasty detox reactions?

A.

Hello A,

According to our polls, 25% of families that report gains do no see a rash.

Only 50% see a

rash in the first week, so it's not too late. I suspect you need to kick up the

virus first

before you'll see signs of detox.

It's very common to see cold or viral symptoms in the first few days. This is a

good sign

IMO.

Keep us updated.
