I got a butt-kicker in this morning. This one is sure a calorie zapper :) I wore my weighted gloves this time and loved doing that. Last week my shoulders were too fried to consider wearing them. I do modify a few of the moves..like jumping jacks.. I seldom do those anyway (due to my prolapse), so I either shuffle or do scissor jacks. With the kicks, I don't add squats to up the intensity, I continue with the toe taps..etc.. But, in the end, I still get my butt kicked :)

The weight workout is such a heart rate elevator in this one with all those darn presses. I match Cathe's weight, other than the leg abductions where they put ankle weights on. I didn't bother adding any. With the plie squats I am able to put my weight on the floor instead of elevated. I think I would be happier with a few less reps of these though. They go on forever!

In the end, I burned 729 calories with my average at 132 ( a tad higher than last week). Oh, and after the cardio portion, I had burned 340 calories. So about half of those total calories came from the weight work. Last week I didn't get any DOMS from this one. Would like some mild ones anyway. With that said my calves are starting to feel tolerable finally! Now, they just feel like DOMS, the first two days were terribly painful!

Great job, Darcy!! How did you get such DOMS in your calves? Mine rarely get sore unless I strain them in some way.

It was off her 4DS too, I think I did that one on Thursday.  It's two DVDs that consist of 4 workouts.D

Hi Jen,Yes, these are advanced workouts.  They consist of 4 workouts.  Each about one hour long.  Each have 30 minutes of strength, and 30 minutes of cardio.  The cardio is:  Higher Intensity Step, Lower Intensity Step, Bootcamp, and Kickbox.
