Is this the Basilar Invagination?

The Arch of C1 was bound down quite densley to the foramen magnum bone with

adhesions at that region however this carried out widley to each side and then

up suuperiorly to both cerebellar hemispheres

How far would the Tonsils be down in mm,s ? No one has ever mentioned

the size

It was able to see the cerebellar tonsils pulsating up and dowd in the

cervical area just below the lamina of C2 which has already been removed.

THANK YOU

Chiari Surgery 1974 (age 17) : Suboccipital Craniectomy :Laminectomy of C1 and

C2 : Removal of Scarred Cerebellar Tonsils wide Graft of area done with

Paraspinous Muscle Tissue. It was Also assumed I had a Syrinx but of course there

were no MRI's then so the status of the spinal cord was unknown. My Chiari was

found with a test called a " Pneumoencephalogram " it was a rough test (Not done

much anymore)

I do think this Surgery was very successful and Definately Neccessary
