Iv, Less than 30 minutes total. They usually inject it into the arm vein.

Jo, you can have an MRA which is an angiogram which delineates of

the arteries of say, the brain. That uses contrast, and it is

injected through the blood vessels. IT is useful to check for

aneurysms, etc. I have never watched one, but I imagine it takes at

least a half hour to an hour of actual room time. Marta

Jo,

I have had one and they do put an IV in for it,what is so funny

they told me that I might feel like I am peeing, and I had to ask

them if I was peeing on myself...lol It is just a feeling that you

get. I know that it didn't take very long to get it done once they

started. Easy done, but strange feeling..lol
