That uses contrast, and it is injected through the blood vessels. IT is useful to check for aneurysms, etc. I have never watched one, but I imagine it takes at least a half hour to an hour of actual room time. Marta >~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jo, I have had one and they do put an IV in for it,what is so funny they told me that I might feel like I am peeing, and I had to ask them if I was peeing on myself...lol It is just a feeling that you get.
