Guest guest
I was on salt/c for 8 months...I was at 8 grams. I never went any higher than that because the gag reflex would kick in if I took too much of the salt tabs...and I would feel pressure in my head. That was for me. Guest guest
My son has been on the Salt/c diet for about 8 mo. We gradually worked up to 18g. He is a large young man. Over 6ft tall and 230+ lbs. Every 10 days we pulse doxy, zithro, tindamax and amphotericin B for 5 days. He still herxes on abx, but while on Salt/c he is fairly calm with very little aggression and anger issues. Our MD says it is because while he is on the Salt he is detoxing. At first while on Salt/c (10g) he had very strange rashes and red marks on his skin and extremely red eyes. this went away after a few days. We are going to stop salt soon and move to homeopathic meds and herbals and still pulse abx because MD says we have probably gotten alot of the parasites and most of the benefit we are going to get from the salt/C protocol. I will be sorry to see it go. He is so much better while on it in terms of behavior. We are also giving supplements to correct metabolic pathways for heavy metal excretion. We are gradually getting higher levels being excreted via stool. We haven't done any follow up testing yet to see if the infectious load is lower. I personally can't take even one salt tablet. My gag reflex is too strong. I am trying the Marshall Protocol and am not feeling all that much better. But, am getting very strong herxes on the days I take abx. Guest guest
Hi Limin We did the yasko testing and corrected the pathways based on the results. Things such as TMG, Methly B12, phosphatydl choline (sp), sam e, mag malate, alpha lipoic acid, BH4, folinic, folapro, liposomal glutatione, liver support factors, fish oil, coconut oil, E-Lyte minerals, and alot of other things such as tumeric, resveratrol, grape seed extract, pine bark extract. Chelation did not work and we tried IV, transdermal and oral. DMPS, EDTA and DMsa. My son can't handle large amounts of sulfur or methly groups. The Yasko testing was a very good thing for us. Now he is finally beginning to excrete heavy metals in stool when he has never excreted anything via urine and has only had very negative reactions to chelation. My son is 22 yo--those metals have been there a long time. Hope this helps Donna Limin Tseng wrote: Donna,Would you mind sharing what supplements you use to correct metabolic pathways for heavy metal excretion? Guest guest
Thank you, Donna. We also did pure Yasko protocol for 2 years attempting to bypass genetic weakness prior to intensively looking into Lyme related multiple infections. In our case, we were on EDTA for 6 months without getting any metal pulls. Once we switched to oral DMSA/ALA (regardless the fact that my son is CBS + MTHFR A1298C + NOS), we immediately saw several elevated metals in stools. And, we did not get to the consistent, elevated pulls on Mercury until we did LED (mobilizing metals) and NDF (binding metals). Guest guest
Hi Sal I can't even get the tablets anymore and have to make my own capsules. I guess it is thought that salt/citC just gets the parasites, which is why we are pulsing abx as well. But is it really effective long term for parasites, as effective as anthelmintics or antiparasitic agents? I don't know the answers or what else the salt/c combo might be doing in the body or which infectious agents it might be effective against. You have to drink alot of water if you try this and use pure salt, not iodized or with anti caking agents. donna denalihike wrote: IS it generally belived then that Salt C just gets parasites and not Bb and other bacteria like mycoplasma.bartonella... and not babesia, a protozoa? Not sure how I could do on the pills. Sal> >> > In my son's case it was...but other people do really well on > salt/c. Guest guest
Donna, Rita has several very informative posts recently on LED and cold laser. You can look up her posts under these names "childbalance" and "Rita Gerald" as well as some of the earlier posts from her and myself to get a better picture on LED. LED is a detox method/protocol designed by Dr. Cowden to rapidly detoxify the body with homeopathic toxins remedies, which can be signatures of pathogens, food allergens, chemicals, metal toxins, etc. In the file section of the group, there are 7 pages of document listing a list of toxins that can be addressed via LED. Either detoxifying pathogens or directly detoxifying metals, LED is capable of mobilizing toxins from fatty organs or deep tissues. However, LED alone does not have a binding element to drag the toxins all the way out of the body. You will need to supplement with some sort of binders. Last summer when I started with LED, Dr. Cowden recommended Alginate to bind biotoxins and the cracked Chlorella to bind metal toxins. After searching around for reputable brands, I decided on EcoNugenics PectaSol Chelation Complex (containing both modified Alginate and modified Citrus Pectin) and NDF (containing certified organic, micronized and cell wall decimated Chlorella and micronized Cilantro). Right after each LED section, we used oral ALA/ DMSA/ NDF/ PectaSol Chelation Complex to chelate and mop up toxins. Beginning this year, we started using PectaSol Chelation Complex daily, as this product is mild and does not deplete minerals. Hope this helps Donna Limin Tseng <liminslett (DOT) net> wrote: Donna, Would you mind sharing what supplements you use to correct metabolic pathways for heavy metal excretion? Thank you. Limin Donna wrote: My son has been on the Salt/c diet for about 8 mo. Hope this info helps donna Tamiduncanaol wrote: I was on salt/c for 8 months...I was at 8 grams. I never went any higher than that because the gag reflex would kick in if I took too much of the salt tabs...and I would feel pressure in my head. That was for me. For the kids....never go up to the full dose.
