Central Daylight TimeSubj: Autism Information/Services Website Dear Parents: The state is creating an autism information/services website and is planning to hold a series of focus group meetings across the state to get input on the website (desired content, etc.). They have asked for assistance in identifying people who might be willing to serve on the focus group in Houston (tentatively scheduled for mid-July). The list of the targeted types of participants is below. They are asking for the names and contact information of people who might be willing to attend the focus group meeting. If you know of someone who could fill one of the participant slots (or if you would be willing to do so!), please email the suggested person's name, email address, and daytime phone number to laura.arce@... by the close of business on Thursday, June 24. Please clearly indicate in your email to her which participant slot the suggested participant fills (e.g., Participant Type #5: Doe is the uncle of an individual with ASD). They simply need names and the other basic information requested; they will arrange for formal invitations. Thanks!
