Hi Libby,

Welcome aboard.

Don't you love how (some... maybe most) peds write off things to either

temperature or

stress? I can't tell you how often I hear that.

These are nice general buckets that should be relabeled " I have no idea. "

These bumps sound like fungus to me more than they sound viral. Although I have

seen

the bumps around the eyes be viral, so I wouldn't rule that out completely. I

would do a

trial of Diflucan and if it works, it should resolve in a few days. I would

stay on the

Diflucan for at least a month. In the meantime I would take out milk, starches

and grains.

Meaning: no pasta, rice, bread, wheat, or milk products. NONE.

If that doesn't do the trick, then you may want to stay on the Diflucan and add

Valtrex.

That's were I would start.

This group is called MB12 Valtrex because I believe Valtrex and MB12 Nasal Spray

are two

very important therapies for autism and chronic illness. Today, they are also

my

favorate... as well as diet... can't forget diet. Valtex and MB12 don't have to

be used

together. I just didn't want to create two groups because I think both of them

benefit the

same community and I would be writing the same thing twice a day if there were

two

groups.

To answer your question about kicking up viruses. Antiviral therapy does not

create

viruses. If there are no virsues there... nothing happens. If there is a virus

that Valtrex

effects or a metabolic issue that it effects you'll see changes. The virus will

have to work

harder to try to survive and then the body probably more clearly sees the virus

and is able

to kill it off or properly manage it like typical people. Our goal is to get

bad things out of

the body and in doing so we see this healing-regression while your child heals

from this

chronic viral and/or metabolic... and then detox of metals and/or other things.

I like to use the technical term " other things. " It's also a bucket that could

be relabled " We

don't know yet... but probably something bad " but I'm willing to admit to it on

most days.

> Hi I just started this group, and the whole Biomedical route I am not super

informed on

yet but am starting to learn. My son was also typical development until 16

months lost

words, developed Asthma, Chronic yeast and or staph Diaper rashes etc.. Started

enzymes

in November and through that discussion group I learned about yeast, bacteria,

and

viruses being a contributing factor to everything. I began rotation of GSE, OLE

and OoO,

and after a couple days of OLE my son broke out in small pimple bumps under the

eyes,

upper lip and sides of nose and cheeks. Also Same bumps in a curious pattern on

bottom,

and scrotum. So, after his non listening doctor chalked it up to cold weather, I

posted on

the enzyme group and one mother said, I might want to check out this group,

since it

deals with viral issues. So, here I am I have some questions though. Is there

a way of

finding out what viruses he has w/o doctor order? Also, why is this group called

mb12

AND valtrex? Is b12 helpful with viruses? See how little I Know? Jeez... Is

this dangerous to

draw viruses out of his little body? What info or red flags to watch for should

I know? if

there are any sites anyone suggests I appreciate it. I found out he had viral

issues by

Accident, I was giving the OLE to keep bacteria in check while doing anti-fungal

treatment,

and I stopped giving it to him. Because I had no idea what I was doing. This is

way too

long. Sorry. Any advice would be great. Libby
