Guest guest
Darci: Oh my, this is exactly my daughter! It drives me nuts because she will ask questions that she knows the answer to, over and over. And she never asks questions she does not know the answer to. Every symptom you listed is exactly her! Wow, goes to show you how this phenomena has to be a pathogen/toxin. I see postings all the time of an increase in symptoms after stopping antibiotics. I think what happens is that lyme goes into cyst mode while one is on antibiotics, and then when you go off of them, they all come out at once. Unlike before, when they were able to be killed here and there by your body. But when they all hibernate, and they make babies while hibernating, and then come out of hibernation all at once with all those babies, you have an explosion of symptoms. Sometimes this explosion lasts days, and sometimes I have heard of years. Thus, I would do something to get her back on something to kill lyme, but also something to mop up toxins since killing lyme can release extra toxins which causes extra symptoms. Also, I notice that when one is on antibiotics, the healthy bacteria in your digestive tract that is needed for digestion and absorption of nutrients is reduced, and likely yeast will grow as well. I noticed that those who take short bursts of antibiotics have much more symptoms. Lyme plus yeast plus lowered healthy bacteria is a very bad combination. Some even feel that all those two-week stints of antibiotics for our children for ear infections while they were toddlers are big contributors to them getting autism. Thus, I say, antibiotics have to used a certain way, or problems can arise. Whenever I go off of treatment for testing, I feel like I am going to die, and then when I go back on treatment, it takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get back where I was, even if I just went off of treatment for 2 or 3 days. I can't make it more than 3 days, as in I really can't. Love and prayers, Heidi N "Hi all- I'm hoping someone can help me with some new disturbing behaviorwith one of my 8 year old boys. I took Chase off his antibioticsfor lyme about 2 weeks ago because we were doing a lot of stool testsetc. and he had to be off all supplements etc. I then decided I wouldleavehim off his antibiotics (Rifampin and Azithromyacin) since he'd been onthem for 3 months and give his body a little break. Here's what hashappened:he's aggressive, angry, very forgetful of lots of things, lots of oddquestions, and is licking things (the wall) and putting lots of thingsin his mouth. I've never seen him lickthings like this before, I'm now reminding him a lot "don't lick thegrocery cart" etc...I just can't believe this... his teacher also said he "wasn't the sameboy" last week- he just didn't "get it", wasn't in touch as much etc. He's very smart, high functioning etc. so althoughhe has social issues and doesn't really understand how people feel attimes, he gets a lot. He's asking a lot of questions like "Is itraining out mom?" when you can see the water pouring down on thewindshield. Can anyone help me understand this? I've put him back on theantibiotics, back on supplements and yeast medication for the last 3days.Thank you so much,Darci"A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps! Guest guest
Ok, does this sound enough... nystatin- 1/2 tsp. twice a day, 8mg. of biotin a day, Yeast Ease, Forte (spelled right?)... thanks! They weigh 53pds. each. -----Original Message-----From: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism [mailto:BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism ] On Behalf Of AxeSent: Monday, January 19, 2009 8:12 AMTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re:Strange behavior... Guest guest
Hi Heidi, I know your daughter was adopted too, I'm thinking some of this behavior is fetal alcohol from the birthmother drinking. Thoughts? I don't think we can fix this can we? I think it's actually brain damage. I've put the kids back on antibiotics, I'm giving probitoics (Mindlinx, per you!)- how many do you think I should give a day? Also, on yeast protocol- what else would you do if your kids were on antibiotics (I know you don't like them, neither do I, but our neurological symptoms were really bad). I would love your thoughts as we're going to the doctor tomorrow. Would you combine with certain herbs? How do I know when we can begin to wean off the antibiotics? This is really tricky- thanks for your input!
