Guest guest Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 Would panic or anxiety attacks be caused by Chiari? I experienced a panic attack right before my MRI. I have had 2 before this and they were a piece of cake. I don't understand. What would cause all of this? I am wondering if spinal fluid flow is not flowing right? Or something pressing on something it shouldn't be. I have a numb tingly sensation in the middle of my back sometimes, and feels like a heartbeat in my spine. I woke up a few mornings ago seeing a squigly looking dot that pulsated like it was beating with my heart. This stuff is so weird!!! It seems like every week there is something new. MRI results are in and still a 4mm herniation. I requested an MRI of my spine but he said MRI of brain and brainstem would be enough? They have no clue and don't care to. I am aggrivated and nervous.
