Guest guest
I have had this done awhile back trying to determine central nerve damage. Will show any breakdown in signal from brain/spinal cord to the rest of body, like the legs/arms/etc. They were ruling out MS at that time. Then more recent my neuro did evoked to check for central nerve malfunction to my legs. I have thoracic syrinx, no ACM. It is painless. They use a set up kinda like EEG with electrodes. Not at all like nerve conduction test with the needle--that is for determining peripheral nerve damage. Evoked Potentials are ordered a lot for MS patients to determine progression of damage and what bodily functions are affected. Best I remember, been awhile. Someone else may have better info on the test. I'd go for it. Mine did " prove " to SS that I have nerve damage to legs. I ain't been faking it or imagining it!! Dawn, TNgal .......As you would do for the least of these so have you done unto me--the Creator --------------------------------- Take the Internet to Go: Yahoo!Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos & more.
