It's easy to say "It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem." Then there are those who see the need and respond. I've noticed a few listers posting that they use this in their children's protocol, but I'm unsure why. Also, could you give me an idea about how you decided on brands and dosages? Guest guest
I've used whatever brand was at the store and just one pill does the trick. Activated charcoal is used to absorb toxins in cases of drug overdoses in the ER and just bacterial and fungal die off at home. It is also used to help take out chlorine from water (the PUR filters for example have activated charcoal in them. When you take it orally it just absorbs toxins and then is flushed out the stool. I have used it on my son and also myself when I started doing antifungals and probiotics. The first few days of probiotics and/or antifungals can be brutal, especially when you wake up. Activated charcoal really helps. - Stan > > Can someone please explain a little about the use of activated charcoal. Guest guest
If you take it during the day with a meal, for example, it may not work as well. I like to use it first thing in the morning with as little food as possible (like with applesauce) wait for an hour and then have breakfast. It's not a cure all for bacterial or fungal die off, but it does take off the edge IME. - Stan > > Sorry Cheryl, I'm having a computer stupid day. > years ago I used activated charcoal on the recommendation that it would help absorb some of the yeast dying off..can't say that I noticed any difference but I've heard it has helped some others > > > Activated Charcoal? > > > Can someone please explain a little about the use of activated charcoal.
