Guest guest
Well, I'm just nine months out and am about a pound short of losing 100 lbs. I have been on a plateau for several months but I am so happy with my weight loss already that anything more is just gravy (pardon the expression). I can basically eat whatever I want - I just don't want as much. If I want ice cream, I have a child's cone and usually throw away half of that. Every day I take my vitamins and calcium without fail. In the morning I have a glass of Isopure protein (50 grams of protein). The rest of the time I eat when I'm hungry and try to stop when I'm not. When I eat too much, I feel a little nauseas, so that helps. Although eating isn't my prime source of pleasure and entertainment anymore, I am finding a life that is much more interesting and am feeling great! I would have this surgery again in a minute. It's the second best decision I ever made (becoming LDS (Mormon) was number one). My clothes look great and I am not wearing small pants!!! I started at 2X so that's real victory for me. I bless Dr. K every day for giving me my life back. He is a genuinely loving and caring man and we are all so lucky to have found him. Hope all of you are doing well. Don't let plateaus get you down. They are always temporary. At least when we lose, it won't come back again. Love and hugs to all of you. Philly
