Welcome to the list. It is so very good to have older people on the list to

What you said is so true. Having my daughter made fun of has been one of my

concerns. I also do not want anyone underestimating her. This is why we

have not told the school where she will go this fall about her diagnosis. I

am glad you will talk to us parents about what it is like to have mds, you

have insight that we do not have. Right now I have to make decisions that

will affect my daughters life and it is nice getting your thoughts on

things. Mahrya is only almost 3 years old right now and has never had to

deal with cruelty from other kids. Do you have any thoughts as to how we as

parents can help our kids deal with other kids being mean? Right now I am

glad Mahrya (my daughter) has a four older brothers, maybe kids won't pick

on her as much with a couple of big brothers around her. Thanks again K.C.
