Right now, your email option for list mail is set to no mail. You should not be getting any list posts. Is it possible that the email alerts are spam mail, which is getting caught by a spam filter, and therefore not in your inbox?

My server must be screwed up. Right now, your email option for list mail is set to no mail. You should not be getting any list posts. Would you be so kind as to set me back to daily mail? No, the message alerts are all list mail, and nothing is showing up in the spam box at all. My computer at work does that a lot, too, and I have no idea what it means. Jane

No, just annoying little boxes show up midscreen telling me I have mail; along with a bar across the bottom telling me who the mail is from. And yes, it turns out it is all old mail, now showing up in the announcement box. had a very frustrating day at the library, learning to scan, figuring out how to send scanned photos to myself both as links and attachments. Got home and they were all blank. argh. CZ mentioned putting them onto a disk, so i shall try again tomorrow. By the way, what is the difference between a zip disk and a floppy? Guest guest
Hi , Do Not let them give your dad Haldol at any cost, it will only cause more problems! Seoquel is an A-typical antipsychotic, which my husband is on normally. It helps him to calm and not be so anxious. It also helps with his hallucinations. It takes a little longer, but not too long to kick in. I tell them to give that to my husband if they think they have to calm him. He is also taking Sinemet for Parkinsons. He is not on Exelon, but I think that Exelon is somewhat like Seroquel. The Sinemet I believe has helped my husband not become too rigid. He has had Parkinsonism, since 1993 and he is still walking with the aide of a walker and some guidance......Jan --- Dempsey wrote: > Hi All, > > My Dad was admitted to the hospital last night due > to dehydration (he had three days of diarrhea). > They are running a bunch of test to figure out what > is going on. Guest guest
, Please have your dad checked for a UTI. As for the agitation and disorientation - are they giving your dad something for the pain? Courage

Guest guest
My Dad took Exelon and Namenda very successfully for about 18 months--really stopped the hallucinations! Then, during/after a medical crisis (UTI and bleeding ulcer)his confusion/delusions/hallulcinations became very severe. Even after his UTI and ulcer were treated, he just didn't come around again. Adding Seroquel helped some, then we discovered that stopping the Exelon and Nameda actually helped a little more. Apparently Exelon can get to a point that it does more harm than good. He is in a fairly benign state of confusion all the time now. My dad's experience with Parkinson's med was bad. Sinemet, even at a very low dose, gave him very scary hallucinations. We tried it twice, and it just wasn't worth it. Good luck...
Guest guest
anyone heard of Dandy Variant? I have had it show up on 2 different MRI's and it looks like some disc buldging at c-6 c-7 disc level, and I have already been fused from c-5 up. I don't know what to expect. They were just looking for tethered cord not all of this. Help please... Chiari I
